About the business:

G.Digital have exclusively partnered with a Tech business who are looking for their Founding Data Engineer as part of this business' 7 figure, brand new offering.

About the role:

• This isn't your standard Data Engineering role and it's definitely not for everyone....
• You will be tasked with initially getting your hands dirty and delivering a key Data Engineering project that is expected to last 3-6 months.
• You will then be tasked with establishing what the Data Engineering function can and will look like including deciding technologies and capabilities.
• You will be able to lean on an already world leading Tech team who have countless war stories of delivering cutting edge solutions.

About you:

• You must come from a strong Software Engineering background; C#, Java, Python
• You will have hands on experience in a Data Engineering capacity with Python, Spark, SQL, Pyspark, PowerBI etc
• Experience with hyperscale platforms; AWS, Azure, GCP
• Embrace modern technologies such as Microsoft Fabric etc
• Experience building and leading Data Engineering teams.
