Senior Data Engineer | West Yorkshire | Up to £60k | Microsoft Fabric & Architecture

G.Digital are partnering with a growing organisation that’s making a serious investment in its data & analytics platform. This is a greenfield Senior Data Engineer opportunity for someone who wants to design and build a brand-new enterprise data warehouse from scratch using Microsoft Fabric.

You'll have full ownership of architecture, modelling, pipelines, and best practice. You’ll be supported by strong data team on business knowledge and clear prioritisation from the head of Data and the SLT.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and building a new enterprise data warehouse on Microsoft Fabric.
• Owning end-to-end data architecture, from ingestion to analytics-ready models.
• Implementing robust data pipelines, orchestration, monitoring, and alerting.
• Designing high-quality data models using medallion architecture, SCDs, snapshots vs transactional tables.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for the data platform.
• Implementing RBAC, security, and governance best practice.
• Working closely with BI Analysts to support Power BI and self-serve analytics.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Engineer.
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience (1+ year strongly preferred).
• Strong Azure stack knowledge.
• Excellent data modelling & architecture skills.
• Experience implementing CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting.
• Solid SQL skills and cloud data engineering best practice.
